Marine shrink-wrap
Providing an installation service using experienced teams based in the UK and throughout Europe, we are able to complete projects of any size.
Whether transporting vessels by low-loader, trailer or as sea freight Tufcoat prevents exposure to the elements, environmental factors and other contaminants.
By encapsulating a boat during transport, boat manufacturers, transporters and brokers ensure that vessels are delivered in pristine condition.
We offer an alternative for marinas, boat-builders and owners frustrated with using tarpaulins or canvas covers to protect their boats.
Tufcoat marine shrink-wrap protects boats during bad weather or when in dry stacks. The use of self adhesive vents and desiccants, minimises moisture which can build up during storage.

How are BOATS & YACHTS wrapped?
The method used to shrink-wrap boats and yachts will vary depending on their size however they do share the same principle tactics.
A perimeter band is used around the hull to act as a belt for the cover, this can be secured using tension and the shape of the hull or suspended from stanchions and cleats, then tensioned by looping further strapping under the hull.
Shrink-wrap is positioned across the cockpit and deck to fit under the perimeter band to weld back to itself, after pleating any excess material depending on the shape, the cover can then be shrunk drum-tight.
