Grit Blasting Containment Solution

Tufcoat provided containment encapsulation to enable ALTRAD NSG to undertake blasting and provide painting services to support the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of the vessel.

Our four man team encapsulated the flight deck, sides and gable ends over a 96 hour period totalling 890m2 using our flame retardant 300µm shrink wrap.

Cammell Laird chief executive John Syvret said “the refit was one of the biggest the yard has undertaken in the last seven years. In total the contract employed more than 300 staff over 12 months”

Tufcoat operate throughout Europe and the UK. Our teams have been involved with some of the most prestigious projects in the world, including the recent QE Class aircraft carrier.

We provide full encapsulation of scaffold enabling blasting and painting services to be carried out in a controlled environment.
